Trillionaire Shortbread Selector<Hotel Chocolat Hot

Rich caramel with lashings of butter nestles at the bottom of our Trillionaire Shortbread Selector. We’ve layered it with a sumptuously smooth hazelnut praline and ladled a smooth and creamy caramel white on top, finishing it off with a sprinkle of crunchy biscuit nibbly pieces to add yet another texture to this rich and indulgent treat.

Our hazelnut praline blends world-renowned Piedmont hazelnuts with milk chocolate, grinding them until they are delectably smooth and bursting with the rounded flavours of the gently-roasted nuts and the mellow flavours of the cocoa in our milk chocolate. Although not a classic addition for the billionaire’s shortbread we used as inspiration, we think the hazelnuts contrast beautifully with the buttery caramel and crunchy topping.

Our high-cocoa butter white chocolate has an astonishing melt and will be a delight to sink your teeth into in a moment of down-time. We’ve added some malty caramel notes to our classic white to give it a warm, comforting texture and to balance with the other flavours packed into this bite-sized chocolate cup.

We called it Trillionaire Shortbread because we wanted to add a little more luxury to our already-existing Billionaire Shortbread Chocolate Selector. We thought our new version would replace the old; but after asking your opinion, you liked them both equally!
